Steak tips were out of this world, I litterly cut them in half with my fork !!!

Friendly, responsive staff to a large group. Some staff went the extra mile to be helpful. Haddock was that perfect mix of fluffy buttery and thin crunch of breading, squash had a delightful hint of citrusy tartness. Chicken rice soup could have used some pizzazz, but definitely serviceable. Good portions. Beautiful, clean dining area. Over all a great dining experience.

Food was great at a very reasonable price. Service was very fast.

I’ve been coming here since I was a child. Before the fire, we would come almost everyday. Great restaurant to visit. I had the seafood platter. Fried clams, haddock, shrimp, and scallops. Everything was excellent except the scallops. They were still very sandy. The waitress addressed the issue. There is a great ice cream selection. Highly recommend to anyone here or passing thru.

It's a quiet, family friendly restaurant. The food is tasty and the service is reliable and prompt. You can have seafood or ice cream besides the normal American food.

My husband an I went up last month first time (and the last time) the service was good, the food we ordered was discussing. My meal came out cold I mean u couldn't even melt the butter on the potatoes an the portions of our meals for the price we paid was not even worth it. The seafood plater my husband got was not even worth the money. Small sliver of haddock couple shrimp an maybe a handful of fries. I told him that was not worth the money or our gas to go to this place. I give u two stars for the service we got.

We stopped at this restaurant because it was literally the first place that served food on the road on our way back from camping in the woods. The inside is actually wayyyy more spacious and elegant than what you could guess from the outside. I was somewhat embarassed since I was in my have-been-in-the-woods-for-a-week-attire but maybe they are used to it 🤣. The menu has lots of choices and the prices are reasonable. I wanted to get the bison burger but was informed that unfortunately the farm they were in business with burned down 😣, hopefully they find another way to put it back on the menu because it's quite a rare meat to find in restaurants. Classic American food, we went for the lobster roll and seafood mixed platter which were very nice, plus very ample choice of ice cream as well. Very good service and food, would definitely come back next time we are in the area.

Dave and I stop in whenever we are in the area and have yet to be disappointed. Generous servings of delicious home cooked food. Today we both had the julienne salad. Yes, I know - matchstick slices of tasteless ham, cheese and turkey. No, not here - huge salad, crispy fresh vegetables, delicious ham and cheese and real (yes, I said real) roasted chicken breast and about the best bleu cheese dressing around. Our wait person Janet was a treasure! She has been there 40 years. Their desserts are homemade. Worth the trip!!!

Bought two big sundaes and a small dish of ice cream and it was the best darn ice cream well worth your time and money to come here

Me and my family came here on 6/21/2020At 7:30 pm and ordered a whole bunch of food and my moms food came out to her cold. She paid 12.00 for cold food,than our waitress offered to put it in the microwave and warm it up. This place is ridiculous. Food was good otherwise but they took her food off my bill.

Over the summer, Berlin has two main draws: ATV week and the Northland Dairy Bar. The dairy bar is a mainstay of the area, with its main draws being its fried seafood and many ice cream flavors. This place specializes in comfort food, with lots of choices of sides and lots of calories to go with them. The decor doesn't really match that (it's more of a vacuous hotel/post office) but that means you never have to worry about getting a table. If you're in the area and looking for a place to go out, there's no better place

Great dinner and wonderful establishment. They accommodated our party of 14 (no reservation) without hesitation. Lots of options on the menu - chicken fingers are out of this world! Would definitely recommend!

Went with my son for lunch and really enjoyed it. Service was great and my extra thick frappe was awesome. I had a chicken club with real chicken breast. My son had the cheeseburger club and loved it. Would go back.

Not going back. Had to call in the order even though it was the lady on the other side of plastic answering the phone. Had to wait over 20 minutes for 2 scoops of ice cream that never came. Go to a convenience store and buy a half gallon and take home. Save yourself aggravation. Had to post 1 star to post review otherwise it would be 0.

Excellent service always, dinners and desserts!We had haddock, pastrami sandwiches fresh and delicious melts in your mouth! Coffee icecream very delicious!We love their food and service!

Food, service, and atmosphere it awesome!! Dining room is beautiful and has a great view of the river. The prices are also very reasonable.

Staff was tremendous. Sandwiches were made to die for and beers were cold. Great drive with the top down. Wonderful day!

I wanted to like this place more. The service was pretty good, if nothing to write home about. We waited almost an hour for food, and when it came, it was barely warm. My roast turkey dinner had about a tablespoon of stuffing and one small scoop of mashed potatoes. The flavors were there, but better had it been at least warm. The side dish of squash was hot and seasoned nicely, so kudos to the garnish chef. The only reason that this review made it to 3 stars was the dessert. Fresh raspberry pie was incredible. Chocolate lava cake was really good too.

Services was great. Always enjoy the food.

Great haddock platter, followed by rasp every pie!

Wonderful find. Best part is the views of the river from up above. You can often see an eagle, dear, and other wildlife. The fried haddock was great. Wouldn't do the sweet potato fries again they were crinkle-fries. Very friendly staff.

If you love Raspberry pie, this is the place! They have the regular baked fruit pie but then they also have the refrigerated fresh pie. OMG...it is absolutely amazing! It doesn't have that gooey, super sweet gel consistency but is light with whole raspberries and a flaky light crust. The food is always good and hot. The wait staff is extremely personable and friendly.

We stopped in for dessert one night and loved it so much we went back the next day for dinner. The dinner was so good. Adult cocktails are delicious, I got the Autumn coffee so yummy. Service is awesome as well. So friendly

We called in an order. It was hard to hear with so much going on in the background. I repeated what I wanted multiple times, but even still when I got there to pick it up it wasn't correct. They tried to offer me multiple items that were already prepared and did remove the item from my bill. The woman we spoke to was kind and professional. My only suggestion is find a quieter area to take orders so that confusion doesn't happen at pick up.

Did not expect to find Blue Mango veggie burgers here! Don't let the "function hall" appearance dissuade you. Two burgers, fresh cut onion rings, hand cut sweet potato fries, two Sam Adams, and a fresh baked strawberry pie slice for under $33. Awesome!Super friendly waitress Kate told us the history of the place, showed us an old postcard (1950s) of what this family owned business looked like before the fire, and drew us a map to a cool second hand store in Berlin.Looks like an Elks lodge, but it's got great food and really friendly staff. Even chatted with an eccentric local during dinner. Fun fun fun, and delicious food. An unexpected hidden gem!

This is my favorite place to go. Food is excellent and staff is friendly and efficient. It's the best.
